Navigating the world of public benefits can be tricky. From paying for childcare to needing extra assistance with bringing more groceries in the home, many times, families are unaware of the types of benefits they may be eligible for. While every Kinship and Adoption family has their own unique needs and experiences, families may be curious as to how a certain benefit may impact their specific family situation.   

Join us April 28, 2022, from 5:30-7pm for a 90-minute informational/educational presentation: Let’s Talk About Benefits. Facilitated by Amber Robinson, Benefits Coordinator at OhioKAN. This presentation will provide a “benefits for adoptive families 101” overview including a review of each benefit, eligibility, tips on how and where to apply, and recommendations on supporting documentation.
