ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Doris Webber

OhioKAN Navigator, Integrated Services

Doris has an extensive history of working with children and families. She’s provided group therapy to children who were domestic violence survivors as a case manager, worked with juveniles convicted of rape, ensured families’ needs were being met as a family advocate, and served students K-12 as a Piketon Schools Behavioral Health Worker. She’s volunteered as part of both the Suicide and Drug Prevention coalitions, providing outreach to affected community members. As a kinship provider and foster parent herself, Doris facilitates a kinship support group in Pike County. She’s had at least three foster children living with her for the past three years, in addition to raising her four grandchildren. Doris has an associate’s degree in Human Services and a bachelor’s of science in Behavioral Science and Psychology. She has been looking forward to serving as Integrated Service’s OhioKAN Navigator in Region 10 since the conception of the program!
